One of the jewel of art deco architecture in Bandung. Formerly owned by Ducth businessman Van Deeterkom who took over a bankrupt grocery store in Postweg (now Asia Afrika street) in 1897. CPW Schoemaker along with Soekarno, future first President of Indonesia renovated the hotel in 1928 with typical art deco style. Now Preanger Hotel is one of the important landmark of Bandung city.

Countless stories behind the greatest art deco landmark in Bandung, Savoy Homan Hotel. Built by AF Albers in 1930 and become one of his masterpiece. Hosted many dignitaries such Gamal Abdel Nasr during Asian African Conference in 1955. Sir Charlie Chaplin among Hollywood movie stars who had stayed here three times.
